PARENT INFORMATION REGARDING 1-TO-1 CHROMEBOOKS FOR INCOMING FRESHMEN AT SWHS
This page provides essential information about the deployment of Chromebooks to students at South Windsor High School. In order for incoming
9th grade students to receive their device, parents should complete three steps:
1. Watch a short video
2. Review and sign a checkout form. >>

3. Pay insurance or fill out a waiver form (see below). Insurance payments after August 20th will need to be paid via cash or check. The amount is $36.00. If you are paying by check, please make it out to South Windsor High School and note Chromebook/student name/student ID on the memo line. We will be accepting payment during Freshmen Orientation when we are distributing Chromebooks.
If you wish to decline insurance, please complete and return
this Insurance Opt-Out Form. You may hand this form on the day of the Chromebook distribution.
If your family qualifies for Free/Reduced Price Meals, you may request to join our Chromebook insurance program at no cost.
Please complete the 2017-18 Free and Reduced Price School Meals application.The 2017-2018 application will be available during the summer. Fill out Addendum A, and check "Yes, I Do" and the box next to "Director of Technology Systems and Programs."
