Snow Day Scholars - High School
Happy Snow Day! We're excited to welcome you to the 2019-2020 Snow Day Scholars Program. As you know, on the 4th and 5th emergency closing days, you will work on class assignments at home. Both of these days will help to minimize the impact of school closings on the school calendar; at the same time, they will give you an opportunity to sharpen some of the skills needed to become college and career ready.

Teachers were asked to communicate assignments in advance of today's anticipated school closing, and to provide you with print and digital resources (as applicable). You should work on the assignments that align with classes you missed during today's schedule (had you been in school).

Remember: w
hether you are working on a long-term project or completing a single assignment, the activities you work on have been designed to promote independence and time management, both of which are essential skills for your future. Keep this in mind as you make a plan for tackling all of your assignments, none of which should take more than 30 minutes.

Please bring all of your completed assignments with you when you return to school. You should submit assignments directly to the teacher who assigned the work. You will also be asked to complete a brief survey during your homeroom period to share information about your experience today. We really appreciate your input because it will help guide our future planning for this initiative.

Hope you have a great day today! Stay warm, and be safe!
