ABC Ya
ABC'Ya.com – offers online games in the areas of math and language arts for students in K-5. Games are sorted by grade levele arts while introducing basic computer skills.
Book Adventure
Book Adventure - kids in grades K-8 can search for books, read them offline, come back to quiz on what they’ve read, and earn prizes for their reading success.
We Give Books
We Give Books - offers students a unique opportunity to read for social good. Each book that is read results in a book that is donated to a charity for children. Site allows students to practice “Read to Self” with a good fit book at home.
Storyline Online
Storyline Online - features accomplished actors and actresses (from the Screen Actors Guild) reading some of their favorite children’s books. Each story comes with a free Activity Guide and can be viewed on YouTube or SchoolTube.
PBS Kids
PBS Kids - hosts educational material for children. Between the Lions offers read-along folktales and fables with a twist, clever song videos of letter sounds, and amusing games.
Read Write Think
ReadWriteThink – offers lessons and interactive games for students of all ages to help with the development of reading and writing skills.
Nutmeg Book Award
Nutmeg Book Award - encourages children in grades 2-12 to read quality literature and to choose their favorite from a list of nominated titles.
