Arrival: Please be in room 142 no later than 7:00pm
Concert Attire:
Girls: White Blouse with sleeves (long or short sleeves are Okay, no sleeveless tops). Long black skirt or Long black pants (skirt should be below the knees when seated). Black dress shoes with black socks or nylons. (The Audience should see white on top, and black from waist to floor, please.)
Boys: White collared dress shirt and Tie. Black dress pants, black dress shoes, black socks. Please tuck in your shirt, and wear a belt if you have one. (The Audience should see white on top, and black from waist to floor, please.)

Festival Jazz Band
Auditions will be Tuesday September 18, 2012 after school. Students will need to arrange for a ride home if needed. Rehearsals will be every Monday starting September 24, 2012 at 7:00 AM in the TEMS band room. Students should enter the building through C stairwell.

Chamber Orchestra
Rehearsals are held weekly on Mondays from 6:00 - 7:30 PM in room 142.
Auditions for the 2012-13 Chamber Orchestra will be held after school on Thursday, September 20, 2012. Students may ride home on the late bus which departs TEMS at 4:10pm. Click here for a list of the audition music.

The 2011-2012 school year with be the ninth year that TEMS has had a Chamber Orchestra. String students who participate in this ensemble like the challenge of not only learning extra music, but also like to learn more challenging music than what is typically played during the school day. Private lessons are highly recommended for students who participate in this ensemble. As we rehearse only once a week, it is vital to the success of the ensemble that students commit to practice their music. You will often be asked to prepare music in advance (learn something ahead of time that we have not yet played). If you need help, please speak with Mrs. Fausel. She is available after school, and very willing to help when needed. You will be responsible to practice, bring your instrument, music and a pencil, and conduct your behavior in a manner that reflects your membership in one of the finest musical ensembles at TEMS.
