PRE-SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH SOUTH WINDSOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS
PRE-SCHOOL OUTREACH PROGRAM (POP)
The Preschool Outreach Program (POP) is a language based program that incorporates the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards (CT ELDS) and Connecticut Preschool Assessment Framework (CT PAF). Staff members include certified teachers, paraprofessionals, occupational and physical therapists, speech and language pathologists, behavior analyst, social worker, and school psychologist. The school nurse also supports the preschool program. (The program is currently housed at Eli Terry Elementary, and will move to Orchard Hill Elementary beginning with the 2017-2018 school year.)

The PRE-SCHOOL Learning Center at South Windsor High School
THE PRE-SCHOOL LEARNING CENTER is a part-time pre-school program offered at South Windsor High School. The program is staffed by SWHS Child Development students, and overseen by a teacher and paraprofessional. The program is only available to residents of South Windsor, and the child must be between ages 3 - 5 and completely toilet trained. Enrollment is subject to availability. There is a nominal fee to participate in the program.
