The Timothy Edwards Middle School Mentoring Program hosted the Eleventh Annual Family Breakfast on April 12. The students who participate in the school-based program enjoyed the opportunity to introduce family members to their mentors.
Keith Deltano, a winner of the teaching excellence award and former public school teacher, was the guest speaker at three Bullying assemblies at TEMS. During separate assemblies, for grades 6, 7 and 8, Keith defined bullying, spoke of the dangers of it, and showed bystanders how to intervene. During the following several days, all students met in small groups with a teacher facilitator and discussed what they learned from the presentation and brainstormed ways to reduce bullying at TEMS.
