Members of the South Windsor High School (SWHS) Future STEM Leaders of America (FSLA) club, along with their faculty advisors, a physical therapist, and students from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), teamed up for the first time, with the Go Baby Go program, to build modified transportation vehicles for two South Windsor children.

The objective of the Go Baby Go Program is to assist families with children in need of wheelchairs. Two families with children in the South Windsor Preschool Outreach Program (POP) were chosen to participate, and were the recipients of modified, custom-fit motorized toddler cars, designed to meet their mobilization needs.

The event spanned two days; a work day on Friday, February 24th, from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm, and on Saturday, February 25th, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, the cars were custom fitted and presented to the children and their families.
