The South Windsor Public Schools provides transportation in accordance with transportation policies. Bus stops are arranged at centralized locations. Students are expected to conform to regular standards of behavior while being transported to and from school. All students are expected to: (1) arrive at the bus stop 5 minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive; (2) wait on the sidewalk or curbside, stand back ten feet from the road when possible; and (3) when on the bus, remain seated throughout the bus ride.
